We are Obsidi: Home of Black Tech Professionals

Hey Tribe!

Black Tech professionals have a new roadmap to level up their careers – Obsidi.

Have you seen the hints on all our socials lately? Yes, yes, we’ve been keeping a secret, but today, we’re super excited to let the cat out of the bag and spill the tea about Obsidi for Black tech professionals!

Big things are happening here at BPTN, the largest network of Black tech professionals in the United States and Canada. On Tuesday, Feb. 1 – the first day of Black History Month – we’re launching our new multi-sided networking platform, Obsidi by BPTN.

We can’t tell you everything just yet, but you may want to avoid real FOMO vibes by checking out these FOUR reasons to jump ship and join us on Obsidi.

1. Be Seen. Be Connected.

If you want to rub shoulders with the who’s who of tech and make the right connections with top Black professionals in North America from Microsoft, Canadian Tire, LinkedIn and more, sign up to join Obsidi. We have a rapidly growing community of professionals and corporations who are excited to meet YOU and support you along your career journey.

2. Community-First

Obsidi helps bridge the network gap for the Black community by providing access to a supportive community that has your back 24/7. We support our community with getting senior executive sponsorships, mentorship, events,  Masterclasses, resources and jobs. Everything we do is for our members to get equipped and feel supported to maximize success. We’re family, that’s what we do!

3. Level-up your career

Research shows that 85% of people are hired from networking, and 70% of jobs never get advertised publicly. Obsidi is a great place to see the latest job posts for Black professionals, to meet the executives of Blue-chip companies like Microsoft, HPE, RBC, LinkedIn and many other tech giants. Upload your resume, learn tips and tricks and attend the latest events all in one place.

4. Be unapologetically Black

2022 is your year to be 100% woke! We’re Black, we’re confident, we’re more than qualified to disrupt the tech space. Come over to Obsidi, where you can be your authentic self. Forget about imposter syndrome, and let’s grow, glow and get there together.

We are Obsidi!

See you soon on Obsidi.com, Tribe!
