Meet Thierry Lindor: Entrepreneur, Active Citizen, and Trailblazer

Thierry’s journey as an entrepreneur began in real estate, only to migrate towards technology with the launch of a modern media company, Influence ORB, which aimed to bridge the gap between companies and influencers. Since then, he has continued to build his reputation as an innovative leader, collaborating with Nobel Peace Prize laureates Malala and Vice President Al Gore.

In 2019, Thierry won the Black Tech Matters “Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year” award in Washington, DC, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the tech industry. The same year, he was honoured at the United Nations as one of the Global Top 100 under 40 most influential people of African descent. He shared the stage with figures like Naomi Osaka, Drake, and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.

In 2022, he was named valedictorian of the prestigious Next Ai and HEC Accelerator, and his company won the 2022 TOP Venture award from BMO and the DMZ AMEX award. In 2023, Thierry and his team won first place at the University of Toronto BCC National competition, showcasing their continued success and leadership in the tech industry.

Impact of Lindor’s Latest Venture: Happly.Ai

During the pandemic, Thierry launched Colors Of COVID, a platform that collects race-based data to help track the impact of the pandemic on marginalized communities. The results were published in one of Europe’s top scientific journals, showcasing the power of data to drive positive change.

In 2021, Thierry co-founded the Federation of African Canadian Economics (FACE), which raised $330M with the federal government and the private sector to support Canadian entrepreneurs of African descent. His latest venture, Happly.Ai, aims to democratize access to funding while reducing economic inequalities by providing access to opportunities for business owners, with an intentional focus on marginalized entrepreneurs.
