- Before you create an Obsidi Communities profile, you’ll need to have already created your own profile on Obsidi.com. If you are not an Obsidi member, you can create a member profile using the following steps:
- Go to Obsidi.com
- Hit the “Become a Member” button
- Fill in your email address
- Type in your password, and then you’ll be email and the confirmation code
- Go to your inbox and copy the confirmation code
- Then hit the “Become a Member” button
- That’s it, you’re now a member!
- Login to Obsidi.com with your member profile
- Click become a community partner
- Then, add company details and submit
- Complete your profile, then explore Obsidi Communities
- Click create a post
- Select your company profile
- Compose message and post
- Type your message in the comment box
- Click send
- Select your company
- Click the repost icon
- Select company profile
- Add any additional copy
- Click post
- Access your company’s page
- Scroll to manage users
- Click view user group (if the user group you want to add an admin to is already there, then continue to step e.)
- Click create user group and add the name of the user group, add permissions, then click add.
- Next, click on the three dots under action for a specific user group, then select add admins, type the admins email and click add.
- The admin will receive an email notifying them about being admins
- Create post permissions
- Page update permissions
- User management permissions
- Access company page
- Click view admins (note: you are only able to see admin names, email and the number of user groups an admin is added to)
- To view admins in a specific user group, access the user group page
- Click on the three dots under action
- Select view admins (Note: you will only be able to see the admin name, email, date assigned, who assigned the admins, and the delete option)
- Access the user group page
- Click the three dots under action
- Click view admins
- Select the trash can icon for the specific admin you wish to delete
- Access the user group page, click the three dots under action, then click edit user group.
- You can edit the permissions and user group name, then, click update.
