Experience Black Tech Week North

A week-long celebration of Black innovation, excellence, and tech-powered futures.

Ready to shape the future of tech and culture?

From November 3–4, 2025, cities across Canada will ignite with local activations, conversations, and community-driven experiences as part of Black Tech Week North—a national extension of the BFUTR Global Tech Summit, powered by Obsidi® and its partners

This first-of-its-kind initiative mobilizes the Black tech ecosystem across the country through a series of localized events—from tech talks and networking mixers to executive roundtables and career meetups—taking place across Canada.

Created and operated by Obsidi®, in collaboration with BFUTR partners, Black Tech Week North is more than a prelude to BFUTR. It’s a coordinated national effort to:

  • Celebrate Black innovation, excellence, and leadership
  • Expand access to opportunities in Canada’s fastest-growing tech hubs

These events will culminate in BFUTR 2025, held November 6th & 7th in Toronto — Canada’s largest tech and Black population hub.
