What’s New on Post?

• Polls: We’re excited to introduce polls, a new way to engage with your network and gather insights!

  • Members can now create polls directly from the feed to ask questions and get opinions.

  • Anyone can vote on polls, making interactions more engaging and insightful.

  • Polls help spark conversations, drive discussions, and collect feedback on a variety of topics

  • Members can participate in polls by casting their vote and instantly view the progress after voting.

• Reply:

  • Members can now reply directly to comments in a single thread, making conversations more organized and engaging.

    • The most recent replies appear directly under the original comment for better readability.

  • Members can now engage with reactions on both comments and replies, adding more ways to interact with conversations.

  • Members can now easily edit or delete a reply for better control over conversations.

  • Members can now like comments and replies to engage more with discussions.

  • We’ve improved the post UI when commenting for a smoother and more engaging experience.

New updates on Suggested Connections & My tribe:

• Suggestions are now more relevant, based on profile matching on few data points such as Area of expertise, industry and locations

• Members can cancel a suggestion and provide immediate feedback on why suggestion wasn’t relevant.

• For easy access, members can view suggested connection on My Tribe page

• My Tribe icon will show up a ‘New’ badge for members to easily spot on this new feature.

• Improved My tribe page to discover connections and followers

• A new nudge in the Companies tab under My Tribe directs members to the company search page to follow organizations if they aren’t following any.

Updates on Jobs:

• Multiple Locations: Recruiters can now create a job with multiple locations, making it easier to reach candidates in different areas.

  • Each location will be generated as a separate job, ensuring better visibility and getting suggested candidates.

  • Editing any of the jobs will update all jobs, and it will be counted just as one job under the recruiter’s subscription.

• For any posted job, applicants will now be displayed with candidates having the highest job match score at the top

• Suggested candidates for hybrid roles will now be shown only within the job’s geolocation distance, ensuring better relevance.

• As requested, Talent Finder emails will now be sent only to the recruiter associated with the job posting.

Other improvements and fixes:

• Members can now crop their image to fixed dimensions when uploading avatars, ensuring a better fit and appearance.

• While commenting, members can now choose to comment using either their personal profile or a company profile by clicking on dropdown icon. By default, the member profile will be displayed.

• We’ve doubled the post description limit, now allowing up to 3,000 characters!

• As part of the UI revamp, posts will now display images in a grid view both during upload and after posting! We’ll soon be adding options to click and view images for an even better experience.

• We updated the jobs sections to display locations in the order of city, province, and country.
